Tips & Best Practices
- The formula is the weighted average: final = Σ(score × weight) / Σ(weight).
- Weights don't have to sum to 100 — the calculator divides by the actual sum.
- To find "what grade do I need on the final?", subtract your current weighted sum from your target and solve for the remaining weight.
- Default letter-grade thresholds: A≥90, B≥80, C≥70, D≥60, F below.
- Add a row for each graded item; remove a row to exclude it from the average.
