How to use

  5. Preview results and download individually or in bulk

Tips & Best Practices

  • Resize by exact dimensions, percentage, or a named preset (thumbnail/social/hero) from the dropdown.
  • Lock the aspect ratio when scaling photos so faces don't end up squashed.
  • Resizing to smaller dimensions is lossy by definition — set the Quality slider lower than 100 to also trim file size.
  • Batch resize is sequential in the browser; uploading dozens of large images at once can use a lot of memory.
  • Everything runs in-browser via canvas APIs; original files are never uploaded.

FAQ

What image formats are supported?

We support JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, and TIFF formats for input, and can convert to any of these formats for output.

Can I resize multiple images at once?

Yes, our tool supports batch processing. Upload multiple images and resize them all with the same settings simultaneously.

How does smart cropping work?

Smart cropping automatically identifies and preserves the most important parts of an image when resizing to different aspect ratios.

Will image quality be affected?

You can control the output quality with our quality slider. Higher values maintain better quality but create larger files.

Can I preserve EXIF data?

Yes, you can choose to preserve or remove EXIF metadata from your resized images.
