- On the US 4.0 scale: A=4.0, A−=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B−=2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, C−=1.7, D+=1.3, D=1.0, F=0.
- Credits are the weighting — a 4-credit course counts twice as much as a 2-credit course.
- The formula is: GPA = Σ(grade × credits) / Σ(credits). Equal weighting across courses needs equal credit values.
- For weighted (Honors / AP) grading, multiply the grade by your school's bonus before entering it.
- Cumulative GPA across semesters: total all grade-credit products, divide by total credits.
